This is one of 4 star hotel, The Water Front Hotel in Labuan Island,Sabah Borneo. The room rate in Labuan Island is much higher compared to hotels in Kota Kinabalu due to the limited accomodation/hotels available in the island. During peak seasion such as maintenance period for oil & gas refinery/industry, overwhelming demand from outside/oversea contractors will push up the price of room rate.For the worst case, I had bad experience where some hotel operators didn't entertain room reservation via phone and they only allow walk in customers.

For those who like to shop for duty free import chocolates and alcohol beverages, they can spend about 10 minutes walk to Labuan Financial center. If visitors are looking for local taste, the row of local food stalls, which are located opposite of the hotel may offer the widest range of local foods selection.
